The island of Pahutanga was once inhabited by the ancient Jhanondi monks. Long ago, the towering volcano at its center rained fire and destruction down upon the island, wiping out the Jhanondi settlements and burying them beneath hardened lava and ash.
Today, brave archaeologists visit the island with the intent of uncovering long-lost Jhanondi artifacts that lay buried beneath generations of volcanic refuse.
On Excavation Event Days, the green-sailed ship in Nauru will provide free passage to and from Pahutanga, where players may dig for lost artifacts that can be sold for a hefty profit!
